This is a versatile Victorian mahogany writing table. It has two useful drawers with turned handles, a wooden back plate and wood turned tapered legs which add elegance to the desk. In addition to being used as a writing table it can also be used as a console table, dressing table or vanity unit for the bathroom.
It has been well used and you can tell it has a history to it with the little dints, nicks and ink stains on the table top (please see photos). It is also a very solid and sturdy table which would add character to any room you chose to use it in.
There is some historic woodworm at the back of the desk (please see photos 9 & 10) which has been re-treated for customer confidence.
