A rare Nathan 'Caspian' sideboard made in the 1960's from rosewood. It is very elegant with clean simple lines and a beautiful wood grain pattern. Nathan Furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design.
There are 3 drawers, one lined in blue felt in a lovely condition divided into 3 sections. There are also 2 cupboards with inset fixed shelves and a wider drop down drinks cabinet with inset glass shelf (which also could be used for storing vinyl if you take out the glass shelf). The doors open with carved semi-circlular finger pull handles and the sideboard sits upon 'H' shaped legs.
This is a very stylish and versatile sideboard providing lots of storage solutions.
It has been well cared for and in a good vintage condition. When the sun shines through the skylight window I can see minor surface scratches on the top of the sideboard (please see photos) but these do not detract from it's overall quality and style.
This rosewood sideboard has an Article 10 CITES exemption certificate 25GBA108IN3YI.
