A carefully restored Mid Century G plan dining table and butterfly chairs. The table which seats 2 when closed, extends to easily accommodate 4 people.
The table top has been restored by a light sanding and then oiled to enhance and protect the beautiful grain of the wood. The black base of the table has been left in it's good original vintage condition as have the black bases of the chairs. They set is in a very good restored vintage condition with minor marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Please see photos.
The chairs seats have been re-upholstered with a high-quality textured plain fire retardant fabric in a versatile teal colour. The seat backs have been hand-sanded and oiled with danish oil. The re-upholstered chairs now meet the 1988 furniture and furnishings fire safety regulations and each have a fire label attached to them.
This dining set is a rare G Plan 'Butterfly' set which are in demand for their stylish look and ergonomic comfort alongside the mix of ebonised frames and beautiful wood grain.
