This is a wonderful White and Newton long teak sideboard. It has stylish sleek metal handles which contrast beautifully with the teak wood. It is of high quality as are all White and Newton sideboards even down to the brass hinges and screws and it's a very heavy solid item of furniture. The minimal styling and great lines makes this a very nice example of Danish influenced furniture from the Mid-Century. The sideboard has 5 slimline drawers with the top drawer lined in felt with five dividers. There is also a double birched lined cupboard with shaped shelves to allow storage of bottles or taller items.

At 216cm wide it allows for lots of storage whilst at 44cm deep it maintains a sleek look and although is certainly a statement piece of furniture it does not monopolise a room. It's tapered legs add a touch of elegance to the sideboard.

The sideboard has been well looked after with no scratches or marks. The only sign of use is a slight fading of the wood colour where drawers and doors have been opened. Please see photo 13 for the best representation of the colour of the wood. One of the back legs of the sideboard has a slight stain on it and there are a couple of green ink stains in the cupboard. All very minor and they do not detract from the beauty and quality of this sideboard.
